River Festival organizers keep it lively
When the organizational committee formed seven years ago, they decided the Sunbury River Festival would be ever-changing and not the same old, same old every year. And, they have kept that promise β setting the river festival apart from anything else the area has to offer.

Starbucks' exit from complex a step back
These are sad times, I'm sure, at each of the 600 Starbucks stores that will be closed in the coming year. But in at least one location on the corporate hit list, fresh trouble is brewing. For more than a year, the Starbucks on the corner of 30th Street and El Cajon Boulevard has been a brightly lighted outpost in a retail ghost town known as Renaissance at North Park.
