State duck stamp winner revealed
The 2009 Minnesota duck stamp contest has been won by an artist from Freeport -- and he's been there before. Scot Storm's painting of two common goldeneyes will grace the Department of Natural Resource's migratory waterfowl stamp next year, the DNR said this afternoon.

NY Museum Seeks Lost Arkansas Artwork

Curator opens gallery
Kristen Accola, who was for many years the curator at the Hunterdon Museum of Art in Clinton, is opening her own art gallery in Manhattan, Accola Contemporary, and hosting an opening party on Thursday from 3-9 p.m. Her inaugural exhibition will include a dozen artists, among them Nancy Cohen, Bill Leech and Wes Sherman.
