'PhotoFest' to show unusual works
The unusual photography of Maggie Taylor and Jerry Uelsmann will be among the work of 13 artists featured in a show titled "PhotoFest,” which opens Friday at JRB Art at the Elms Gallery in the Paseo Arts District. Anadarko artist's work featured during international powwow
The dramatic and colorful art of Darwin-Cabaniss Tsoodle will be the signature artwork at the 39th annual United Tribes International Powwow from Sept. 4-7 in Bismarck, N.D. Tsoodle is a Kiowa-Kiowa Apache artist from Anadarko. His painting, "Medicine Journey,” was chosen as the powwow poster and will be featured on other commemorative items.
