Auctions: Pottery from the early 1900s
Before moving on to the Stickley furniture and the Tiffany Studios lamps, one of which could bring as much as a half-million dollars, Rago Arts & Auction Center's Craftsman weekend tomorrow and Sunday will offer nearly a dozen lots of pottery that were integral to the rise of the American arts and crafts movement in the early 20th century.

Woman's son, just out of a psychiatric facility, is held after she's stabbed
Police found a 47-year-old woman bleeding from stab wounds to the neck, right arm and stomach at the Liberty Studio Apartments at 2203 Art Museum Drive at 7:50 p.m. Sept. 17. The victim was taken to Shands Jacksonville for treatment of non-life threatening wounds.
