Unique art exhibit opens at Dr. Java
Dr. Java is now presenting "Expressive Qualities: From Within, From Without" by Sean Koger and Josh Ashley. The exhibit opened Sept. 19 and will run until Nov. 9 at Dr. Java located across from USA on Old Shell Road. The exhibit is a unique one as works displayed by Kroger are in mediums of pastels and charcoals, and Ashley's work is mixed media.

'Voices' art exhibit to open at MCC on Oct. 5
Edison Arts Society announced that the art exhibit "Voices" will open at the studio gallery of Middlesex County College. An opening reception will be held 5-7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11. Refreshments will be served, and music will be provided by the Cornell A Capella ensemble Key Elements under the director Aaron Rubin. All are welcome, and there will be no admission charge.

Two Villagers featured in 2009 Arkansas Artist calendar
Two Hot Springs Village artists, Linda Shearer and Jim Oberst, produced artwork that is featured in the 2009 Arkansas Artist engagement calendar published by the Governor's mansion association.
