Each year the National Storytelling Festival gives listeners a chance to hear more than 20 of the nation’s top tellers, presenting tales of all kinds — humorous and serious, traditional and original, modern, urban, Appalachian, from different cultures, even deaf performers and singing storytellers.

Oil Accidentally Poured into Holley Home
Emergency crews are cleaning up after oil was accidentally poured into the basement of a house in Holley. The Holley Fire Department told R News that the oil, used to heat homes, was delivered to the wrong house. Instead of going into a fuel tank, it was poured into the basement of the home.
