Sculptor Francis Fox opens show
Sculptor Francis Fox will open his first solo show in three years Saturday. This new work by Fox plays with form, balance, texture and story, inspired by random narratives that seek to engage the viewer and remind them of their own stories. You'll also see the weird and wonderful electronic sculpture of Boise Cooperative Laboratories - that's Fox, Caleb Chung and Joe Coffland - known as BOCOLAB.

Hot Springs Art Festival kicks off today
TRUTH OR CONSEQUENCES —Gallery tours, belly dancing, workshops, readings and special events will all celebrate the arts and culture of an artistic community at the 5th annual Black Hot Springs Cool Art Festival Friday through Sunday at sites throughout Sierra County and Truth or Consequences, the community once known as Hot Springs before a national game show persuaded the town to rename itself.
