BVAC digital photography workshop
This fall Babylon Village Arts Council is offering digital photography workshop for Babylon Village residents only. Village Images: Argyle Park is first in a series focusing on the visual images in Babylon Village. All participants attending will learn about exposure, composition and selecting images for print in a group critique.

Islip Art Museum antique and collectible fair
An antique and collectible fair, hosted by the Islip Art Museum, will be held on the grounds of Brookwood Hall, 50 Irish Ln., East Islip, Sat., Oct. 25, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. A rain date is scheduled for Sun., Oct. 26 at the same time and place. Admission to the fair is free.

Oklahoma County 4-H names Edmond student to 2008 Hall of Fame
The Oklahoma County 4-H program awarded Edmond's Tara Drwenski with its highest honor when she was named to its 2008 4-H Hall of Fame. Drwenski has been part of the Edmond 4-H club for 9 years and was also a winner of a state 4-H Record Book award this year in photography.
