Staff members win state press honors
Editors, reporters and photographers whose work appears in the Southfield Eccentric were among those honored in this year's Better Newspaper Contest sponsored by the Michigan Press Association. Among the winners: Sports Editor Mike Rosenbaum received first-place honors for best sports feature writing. Community Editor Wayne Peal received third-place honors for best editorial writing.
