A dazzling display of art quilts
An astonishing achievement, it's one of the handsomest gallery exhibits to grace the western suburbs in decades. I refer to the 68-piece "ArtQuilt Elements 2008" display at the Wayne Art Center, which has rolled out the red carpet for the show at its new permanent home. A coup for Wayne, it's the only biennial East Coast display focused exclusively on art quilts.
