New art form covers old walls of Graue House
A visit to Graue Mill and Museum in Oak Brook usually is about seeing something old -- the 1800s grist mill, tools from more than a century ago or a demonstration of how clothing was made before the days of malls and catalogs. But now through September, a display in the Frederick Graue House, just across the lawn from the mill, is all about something new.

Through the eyes of the artist
The paintings scattered about Katie Clausing's office at Ray Graham Association's Elmhurst Community Learning Center look like they came out of the abstract expressionism wing of an art museum. Some are composed of minimal brush strokes; others are densely covered in paint, resembling relief maps. One looks like an homage to Jackson Pollock.
