Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden is holding a photography show of black-and-white landscapes by Richmond artist Edwin Holloway. The exhibit will open Wednesday and run through July 14. Holloway captures experiences from subtle to grandiose. Revitalization committee discusses plans for 2008
WELLSVILLE-The painting of murals on the Wellsville floodwall again is underway now that warm weather has begun. The Wellsville Revitalization Committee met Wednesday at member Nick DaLonzo's Restaurant to kick off plans for 2008. Sophomore Michalea King took best of show honors at the Strasburg High art show with a watercolor painting, “Sunflower.” She is the daughter of Stan and Denise King of Strasburg. She also won a second place for an acrylic painting titled, “Fall” and honorable mention for a print.
