Hall of Fame: Christine Markham, a retired English teacher from Clarkstown North, was included in the Clarkstown Central School District's Hall of Fame on May 7. Markham served as the English department chairwoman from 1987 to 2004 and was credited with establishing and organizing a writer's workshop, trips to London, the Sticky Notes Festival and the English Honor Society.
