Fairport Celebrates Canal Days

Festival draws arts lovers
Organizers were hoping to draw 300,000 to the 22nd annual Detroit Festival of the Arts in Midtown. The three-day festival, which began Friday, features 10 stages and 20 square blocks of art and performances. The arts and entertainment extravaganza is free. It has 100 artists and 100 performances.

Festival in Eden brings skilled potters from Piedmont and beyond
